“ Fine dining, reasonable price for lunch. Service a little leisurely, but acceptable. Food well cooked, but I thought the pork was a little dry, not as moist as I prefer. I would go back. The cost for two courses was fine at eighteen pounds, but oddly three courses was an extra nine pounds, which seems steep. Nice bathroom with Moulton Brown soap. ”

“ I've been a few times before. Didn't notice that they dim the lighting in the restaurant. I couldn't see the menu, especially for someone who wears glasses. The text is very small. I asked the reason for the dim lighting and was told for the ambience. I had the Gamberoni Picante (Pan fried king prawns with tomato sauce, white wine, chilli & garlic served with homemade bread)my partner had Fegato Di Agnello (Lamb liver cooked in red wine sauce, veal jus,with baby shallots and fresh herbs served with homemade breads). The food and service is very good. I had Bistecca Di Manzo sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce. My partner had Filleto Di Manzo Prime fillet steak, 8oz, served with tournedos rossini sauce & bread (Masala wine, demi-glace and Lamb pâté), both came with saute potatoes and vegetables. My partner had a glass of red wine and I had a Pinot Grigio, Rose spritzer. The waiter explained how best to cook both of the steaks, very useful information. For dessert we both had profiteroles (Pastry balls filled with whipped cream, served with a drizzle of chocolate sauce). We've had this before. Very disappointed with the dessert this time. The profiteroles were covered in a thick layer of chocolate sauce. It defeated the whole point of having the profiteroles. We both scrapped the chocolate of the profiteroles. Please go back to a decoration of chocolate with a small portion of ice cream. Apart from that the food and service is always good 5 ⭐ ”

“ What a delight. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Food was authentic and "clean", and very fresh. Nice buzz in the restaurant so you could talk without worrying about being overhead, whilst not having to try and talk above the background noise. Perfect. Will definitely go back. ”

“ A nice authentic Italian restaurant with quite many choices of food. We really liked the presentation of the calamari and the bruschetta was really tasty as well. The pollo with pecorino and ricotta was nice and filling. ”
